What Is Home

Dad drives me places and Mom makes my food, a home is a place where siblings call you dude. Love swirls around, pets play on the ground, you feel at home, at home. At evening at morning at night time when you play, home makes you feel good at any time of day. You carry a piece of home in your heart, after all, your heart is an important part. “Ha ha ha!” giggle friendly voices, home has fun and games and choices. Fence surrounds it. What is it? A yard growing plants in it with family is not very hard. Ring Ring! The bell goes, relatives are here! They have a home too, but it is not very near. Jokes, sounds and laughter fill your ears, basically taking away all your fears. “Bye bye” I say as family leaves, we have everything a family needs. I made this poem for people to see that some people don't have a home, like you and me.
