My Beautiful Home

My home is a beautiful place Home is my family, my friends, and my happy space My home is a place that I can go When I’m feeling sad or feeling alone My home is a love filled room With plants and flowers that always bloom In my home, I have two amazing brothers A sister, a father and a mother My home isn’t the place where I live It’s the love and the kindness the world gives My home isn’t the place that I sleep It’s the great pit of generosity ever so deep A home isn’t just a house or a place where I can stay It’s the kind and caring people you meet along the way A home isn’t just a roof over your head It's the small acts of kindness that we all have spread Everything I love is my home So I am happy to write this poem I’m grateful for everything and everyone around me And all the amazing and beautiful things that I see
