Home

Home is more than just a four-letter word. Every home has different feelings. In the evenings, my home is usually filled with the delicious scent of noodles. At first glance, my home seems ordinary, but when one starts exploring, a gush of relaxation rushes over them. On Friday afternoons, the lovely sound of the piano fills the air, as if birds were chirping a harmonizing melody. Because my family loves travelling, we go around the world every few months. Every summer, my whole family usually gathers at my home to enjoy the burning summer together. Feelings like calm, though, are not the only things a home possesses. Home also hangs onto memories, keeping them alive. One’s home has things a house does not have. A home also has a place to belong. My home wouldn’t be at the same place another’s home is, which wouldn’t be at the same place a house is. For these reasons, I believe home is much more than a four-letter word.
