Home is Where I Belong

I like ice fishing, hunting and going on skidoo. All those things make me feel at home. Ice fishing and hunting connect me to those who came before me. Home is a place that makes me feel safe and comfortable. Being with loved ones and being in familiar places also make me feel at home. Living in a small community makes me feel closer to the land. Pinsent's Arm is my home, a small community with just forty-seven people. Built next to the salt water and just twenty four kilometers outside of Charlottetown. Being able to smell the salt water air, walk along the shoreline and look outside at the beautiful Northern Lights is how I know I am where I belong. This is what home means to me.
