The Meaning of Home

I see my cat Noah at the door, trying to get out of the house for no reason. I feel hungry, tired, and cold when I get home from school. I smell my mom cooking dinner when I get home. My favorite meal my mom cooks is tacos. I hear my siblings fighting over weird stuff like headphones, stuffed animals, and Sky (my baby sister). They also fight over other stuff. One of my favorite memories from my old house was when Pearl (my little sister), my dad, and I were playing hide and seek. I was about five, and Pearl was three. My dad was counting, so Pearl and I went to hide. Pearl hid behind the couch, and I hid under my bed. I won because I switched spots when they looked under the bed. In the end, Dad had to call Mom to come to find me, and she got me out with a cake. Home is important because you feel loved, and you're with the people you love.
