Meaning of Home

I have a home. I don’t have a house. A house is like an empty big room with smaller empty rooms, a house has no joy. Sadness or gladness, a house has no feelings. But a home- a home is like a warm glow in a deep darkness, the smell of a fresh load of bread and a whole lot of feelings. A house is something you build out of frustration and loneliness. A home, you build with a hopeful sensation for safety and security for your family. A house might look like home, but it’s nothing like a home. Rooms in a house are filled with dread, but a home is always filled with gladness. A house can be nice, but not with any light. A home has love at a loving pace, with so much joy on everyone’s face. After every memory, I feel grateful and I hope this feeling never ends. Home is where our hearts are, but in a house your heart hides because we don’t recognize houses. Home is where I belong. How do I leave home when the memories so sweet pass over the years. It hurts to leave. A home is not just walls, a roof and stairs- it's full of love and care and desire. I hope all the people without homes get homes full of love. If you know your warm and cold colours, you will realize a home is filled with all the warmest colours and feelings. A house is filled with cold colours and feelings. To me, home means everything: love, joy- just everything. I feel upset and sad to hear that lots of people don’t have homes. I hope when anyone wins, everyone gets a home. God bless you all. HOME.
