What Home Means to Me?
Home is a space to unwind and calm down. My home smells good when my grandma bakes and when my parents cook. The kitchen smells like freshly baked chocolate chip cookies and fresh food. The living room is the space to watch movies and tv shows together as a family or by myself. The living room is where we have family discussions and for relaxation. My bedroom is my own space to be calm and relaxed. When I open my window in the summer, a cool breeze comes into my room. The backroom is the room that leads to our backyard, and it also has the stairs that leads to both my sister’s room and my own bedrooms. There is a space under the stairs. This space is a reading nook that I share with my sister. It is also a place where we hangout and play. Our basement is cold and dark. I do not like going down there as it is creepy. The spare room is our storage room and is where I keep my art stuff. You will find in our garage my old plushies and toys. You will also find Christmas and Halloween decorations. The table in our patio is where we eat, and I paint sometimes. The backyard and porch are where we chill and hangout outside and have fun. The backyard is where we play hide and seek and have lots of fun. This is what home means to me.
