What Does Home Mean to me
To me, home and houses are both very different. Houses are just houses, with no story at all. Just an empty house. Houses can be big, and fancy. But homes don’t need the fame. Homes have something that a glamorous, and giant house doesn’t have-Love.
Each area in the house is all unique, and alive.
The kitchen is full of smells, and food; makes my mouth water, and want to eat. The kitchen is full of curiosity, and wonder. Combining two foods, to make something new and neat.
The living room holds board games, and books, and entertainment. A place for conversation., and well arrangement. Chunky wool blankets, and the crackling of the fire, makes me want to curl up, and stay there forever.
My bedroom has lots of special things. Some from adventures, some were gifts. Some were things I made myself. I really enjoy displaying my special things. Like a rock, or necklace I had collected or received. These things I place up on my shelf. Having three brothers and me being the only girl is difficult to live with, but my room is my own sanctuary. My own little oasis in my house. A place to do my own thing.
The washroom is a place to do your business or freshen your hands, or brush up those few hair strands, it’s a place for you to take your time. I love taking showers.
The garage is like a home for my parent’s cars. It keeps them warm and clean, so they don’t freeze up or get piled with snow. My favorite part is that my bikes get stored there too.
I cannot forget about my backyard! So many adventures back there. The pool is something some people don’t have. So I am very grateful that I have one.
