What A Home Feels Like to Me

The difference between a home and a house, what is it? Let us start off with a house. A house is a building with essentials you will need to survive, where you can relax and live in. A home is a place where you feel like there's an aura or warmth, you feel safe, calm, and peaceful. Sometimes at your home, you could feel anything, depending on what it is. A home can be a building, place, or land. Anything could be a home. My home would definitely be my basement, not in a weird way, but basements are normally a bit colder since they are underground. My basement still gives off a warm vibe and that no one could find me under here. I feel safe and calm. There is still a bedroom underneath, it’s always bright since the bedroom is under the backyard. My basement feels like a home also because I could stay under there and it's also right next to the front door, so after school I would always just take my shoes off and go downstairs. My favourite thing is getting into bed and looking at the bright light and looking at my phone. I always sit down and just chill and relax, it feels calming and peaceful. That's why my home is my basement.
