How My Home Feels to Me

My home feels comfy because of how warm it is. I am grateful for a roof over my head, knowing that my parents worked really hard to buy this and I have a little bit of knowledge of people that don't even have enough money to afford food. I feel sad for them, not having something called home. ANYWAYS OFF TOPIC HERE. My body wakes up every morning knowing that it has something to greet it when it wakes up. I have a room by myself but I don't really use it myself, I just use it as storage space but it's pretty organized. I really like the colour design as well. It's light turquoise blue with a nice brown reddish rooftop. Everytime I get home from school, I feel a gush of warmth, happiness, and memories coming towards me. I feel like a bird in a cage sometimes and after school, I feel free like a bird without a cage. Down in the basement, I feel like an animal. A cat especially. My friends sometimes go down there when visiting me. They feel like a wolf. We playfight in my house knowing that with the walls, no one, nobody will judge us. My house is like a territory, my space and comfort matter as well. Lastly, my home makes me feel safe.
