Meaning of Home

A home means so much to me. A home is not a house, A home is where you’ll grow up. It’s a place where you will feel loved and cared for. A home is like your family’s bonding place, you will have a lot of fights but you will find a way to say sorry. My dog will be the one who will be there for me when I need someone. Lunch on the weekends is my favorite. My mom makes my favorite Filipino foods. Home to me is a clean house with music to dance to. Home is where you make your own memories. Home is the best place you will ever be. My dog Sammi will be at the door, Waiting for me to take my boots off, Put my bag down, and take my winter jacket off. She will be in the living room wagging her tail at me saying she wants hugs. I feel more relaxed and happy after a long day. On the weekends my mom cooks my favorite Filipino food, it tastes sour, sweet and salty too. It’s not a tradition but my mom does it because I did well at school. For lunch I am excited to eat, I’m the one who’s always first sitting at the table. I love my mom and after I eat I thank her for making it. On the weekends or after school I am in charge of cleaning the whole house, including my room but I don’t feel like doing it so I play music to motivate me. Without music, I wouldn’t be able to do that. With music, I can clean the whole house by myself, While singing the music too. Music really helps me to be focused, relaxed, and motivated. When my parents come home they don’t have to clean the whole house. Helping them clean the house makes me happy to see that they don’t have to clean the whole house. A home is the best place you’ll ever have. Inside a home you will feel a lot of emotions: happy, angry, sad. A lot of things will happen in a home but it won’t stay like that. A home is where you will always feel relaxed, happy and cared for. Being with your family and playing with your siblings. I will always love my dog no matter what. I’m thankful that my mom cooks my favorite food on weekends. Cleaning my room and the house is very tiring to me but music makes me motivated. Home is my favorite place to be.
