What Home Means to Me

Home to me means where I am loved; my family is my home. My parents make me feel safe and secure. My sister makes me laugh until my head falls off! Even if we leave our house into the midst of darkness, having someone that I know by my side, it would still feel like home. Doing things together as a family makes me have a wide grin on my face. Having friends makes me feel a lot like home too, spending time together laughing; it makes me really happy. My fears feel like they don’t even matter when someone is with me who cares about me. Sometimes I walk off alone when I’m upset, but really what I need is some friends to comfort me. I confess, without home, there is no point in existing in this world. When I do activities with my friends, I feel like I just fit in just right. I love my friends and family more than anything in this world. Home means the joy I feel when I’m around others. Where I feel safe to express my personality without regrets. I love my life the way it is, I would never want to change it ever. That is what home means to me.
