Habitat for Humanity
Imagine you’re walking home from somewhere, where would you feel safe? Your home right? Well sometimes people forget that homes play a very crucial role in our lives, but I will tell you that having a home is not a thing to take granted because most people around the world don’t have a home or are struggling to keep one and are facing mental problems or physical ones, threats, vandalism, and other dangers because they don’t have a home! Our home offers us comfort, dignity, privacy, stability, and it is a sanctuary.
We should also value our homes because many bad things can happen if we don’t have a home, for example Ukraine. In Ukraine Ukrainians that don’t have a home are suffering in the war (between Russia and Ukraine). They don’t have safety, security or hope if they don’t have a proper home.
Right now there are many battles in different countries that are happening. In a home we feel like we belong and you can be you but in countries that have a war going on that can’t be made possible unless you have a proper home.
A home is where you can feel cozy, make memories of your life, relax, gather with your relatives, where you can belong, and where you feel comfort or safety. But people who don’t have a home don’t have these things in their lives. This is the reason why homes are important to us.
We all need a sustainable house to live in order to survive and that is the main importance of having a home. To make sure that everyone is living a healthy life we need to show equity and give our service to others who are in need of a home to have sturdy walls and a roof under their head so that they can succeed in their lives and dreams.
