Home is Not Just a Place

My house has all the things that I need But a home is much more than that My home is not just a place to live It is special to my family in its own way. A home holds a lots of things and feelings Family is there to celebrate the good times with us When you feel sad at home, your family is there And during the bad times they help us with our problems. Pets are a part of the family They take care of us in their own way They wake you up in your bed. Family holidays are one of the best things to do in a home Everyone is happy and it is the best. Sometimes you have to move houses and that is hard But it is a big adventure and maybe change is good You might be leaving the house But you not leaving your family or memories Memories are made wherever the people you love are. Safety is a big thing that everyone should have in a home When your home is safe and you are loved it seems like the world is ok for once Nobody is judging you in your home And you can be who you want to be. Home is not just a place It is a feeling and feelings are everything Home is like a warm blanket wrapping you up in love. But when you don't have a warm and safe home things can feel hard When your family is fighting it can feel like the world is going to fall apart That is why we have to make sure that all people have a safe and warm home To call their own.
