What Home Means to Me

Home means a warm place that keeps me safe. I love my home because I feel loved by my family. My home is special because I get to have fun and be myself. I love playing with my brother even though we fight sometimes. I feel cozy and have fun all the time. I can do all my favourite hobbies and things I love. I love to play games with my dad. I love to have tons of blankets and pillows in my room. I love to eat a big dinner. I feel comfortable in my home. I am lucky to have grandparents visit once in a while. I wash myself and clean the house. I have tons of toys to play with. I play with my hair and put it up into crazy hairstyles. I celebrate holidays. I am so lucky to have a big yard so I can jump and play. My mom and my dad lived in China. They moved here because they wanted to go to university here. School is like a second home because my teacher is really nice and I have lots of friends that are kind. I love to play with my gymnastics bar and mat and also my swimming pool. My favourite hobbies are doing gymnastics, reading and doing art. I love baking with my mom. We make delicious cookies that fill the air with joy. That is what home means to me.
