Home is Family

My home is my cat home is the family I live with home is comfy My home is where my cat is like when I get home my cat is either on the soft couch or at the door waiting for me. My fluffy cat has cute yellowish-blueish-green eyes and brown and black and white fur he is a boy. And he loves when I feed him just the happy sound of him purring pours joy into my soul. He snuggles with me he brushes up against my leg, he loves doing it most whenever I am on the couch just him meowing at me makes me happy. He lets me do a bunch of goofy things around him and he doesn’t judge me he just looks at me and looks clueless it makes me laugh he doesn’t tell me I have a bunch of stuff to do so I have less stress around him and that makes me feel like it is home. Home is about family I have a really nice family we play board games together ( my personal favourite is Uno ) we have movie nights with popcorn my dad pretty much always picks them but for some reason I like every single movie. But recently my dad pulled his right arm muscle so he had surgery and he is in a cast but it is okay because he is still happy ( just annoyed that he can’t brush his teeth with his dominant hand for a while ). We tell jokes well sort of because we can’t really think of any other than the ones that we know of . Home is comfy when I get home from school I take off my soaking wet backpack and jacket,snow pants etc. I lay on the couch and turn on the fireplace. Sometimes my mom brings me a steaming hot mug of hot chocolate to warm me up and I sometimes use my heated blanket but I wait a bit for my hot chocolate to cool down before I start drinking it. I usually watch TV but I do other stuff like read books and draw and stuff and relaxing where I feel most comfortable makes it feel like home. Home is like my cat. He is loving and caring and doesn't judge you and he looks derpy the whole time he is doing it. Home is comfy. The warm bed you sleep in and the sturdy roof that you have over your head. It's not just blankets its so much more. Home is also about the people that you live with called family. For me family isn’t just the people who you are related to but the people you choose to care about and love.
