Home isn’t one place
Home is not a place, it is where my family is. I am an 11 year old boy and I have ADHD. I struggle with making friends, school, focus and my emotions. Finding my home, where I belong is wherever I go I have my family there with me and no matter what they love me. They understand me and let me be me. Home to me is my house, my grandparents house, my Grande Prairie grandparents and my parents friends houses. I play baseball and hockey. It is one of the only places I fit in. Being with my team is a second family to me, so that is my home as well. Home is at the rink, on the baseball diamond, in my house and on the farm. Home is where I can be me without worrying about anything, and I know my family is there to have my back, support me and love me. The building, structure, or place may change, but home is that feeling when I know I’m safe and belong.
