What Home Means to Me

Home is where people love you, you have a roof over your head and have smiles on your face. One time in the kitchen I smelled my mom's food and I went to the table to eat and inside I was happy. The real reason I'm happy is not just food, it's the people you're surrounded with, your mom, dad, uncle and anyone. In my parent's room, my family and I have fun. We play games, tell each other jokes and I get to spend time with my family. It doesn't matter if you have nothing else to do, at least you have a family to spend time with. A home feels like it's your guardian angel like it protects you. It has other things to keep you happy and helps keep your head covered under a roof to feel safe. Everybody needs a home to enjoy their lives and have a safe place to stay because most of them can't afford a home or their last home was destroyed by bad weather. Habitat for Humanity builds houses to live in to have a better future. Habitat for Humanity is an awesome community trying to help change people's lives by building their houses to feel safe and happy.
