What home feels like to me
A house is a building, it protects you from cold nights and windy storms.
A home is what is inside of those four walls…
My home is a place to call my own.
Home is a cozy blanket that wraps around me and makes me feel safe. Where my family lives and grows together.
I feel like I belong, I feel like I can be myself.
When I come home after school, I smell my sister's freshly baked chocolate chip cookies.
I hear laughter and it makes me smile, it’s the kind of laughter that makes your belly hurt.
A happy home is the best.
Home is even better when there’s pets to share it with. The sound of my cats purring makes me feel at ease and like nothing else matters.
Home is quiet, loud, crazy and calm all at the same time.
Home is family dinners on Sunday nights, birthday celebrations and Christmas morning.
Home is where memories are made.
Home is love.
Thank you Habitat for Humanity for building houses, so families can make them homes.
