What Home Is

Home is a loving place. Home is what I love coming back to from school. Home is where I feel the safety of my family. My cat feels like the softest thing on the earth. She meows as loud as a honking horn. And keeps meowing until she gets what she wants, Food. Purrs as if she's a motorcycle. Only, If we pet her. My home feels like safety and love. But sometimes that's not right. Home can be like a long bumpy car ride. The trouble at home is the rubble on your car ride. My home smells like the delicious foods we make, eat and enjoy. All the wonderful foods we get to eat and have because we have a home. Also, my family is the best thing about home. Me, my mom, my dad and my sister get to make memories every single day. Don’t forget about all the games and joking around we do in our home. I am so glad that I have a loving family and a safe home. But not everyone has a safe home. They might have a loving family but they need a home. And that's why I love Habitat For Humanity for building people a safe and affordable home.
