My Family is my Home

My house is a safe, comfortable and happy place. My home is a place where I feel safe. I feel safe because I have a roof over my head to protect me from anything that might happen outside. I would not want to lose anything that is really special to me. Like my family ,my books, my bunny stuffed animal that I got from my grandpa before he passed away and my desk where I do all of my home work and where I keep most of my stuff like my Lego. Plus I would not want to lose my hockey pictures because my grandparents said that I looked like I was a famous hockey player. Plus I really liked playing hockey that year. And also I would not want to lose my Caitlin Clark poster because now I am a big basketball fan and she is my favourite WNBA player. Second of all, my home is a place where I feel comfortable. Because I know that I can tell secrets to my family and they will not tell anybody. I trust them so much that I can tell them anything. Sometimes after school my mom asked me if I had a good day. If I had a bad day then I tell her what happened and she helps me think about what I could have done . When I feel uncomfortable they will try to do anything so that I do feel comfortable again. And sometimes my dad mostly makes jokes that are not funny and my mom too. Then they realize that I did not like that joke and say sorry. My sister sometimes has a problem that happened at school and I help her and give her advice on what not to do and what to do if it does happen again. Lastly, my home is a place where I feel happy. I feel happy because my family is a family where we can play games and the people that lose are not sore losers and the people that win are not robbing it in the loser's face. And we always help each other out when we need. I am also very happy because we get fed every night and we do not starve. And if we want something then anyone in my family try’s to make it happen. I could not ask for a better family and home. It’s a safe, comfortable and happy place. All of that gives me my perfect home.
