Home Built with Memories

My home is filled with so many memories.When I get home I feel safe knowing that my family will be there. I feel so comfortable in my home because I know that I am loved. My home is filled with so many different memories like when I first learned how to play piano. I love all the memories in my home. I know that if I keep this spirit in my heart,it will bring me luck and keep those memories alive. It is just so nice to know that home is not a place or a structure that you are living in.Home to me is more than a place. It is more about the people around me and the family in my life. Each memory brings joy to me. My home is filled with my loved memories. Home is where I feel safest. I feel safe in my home because I know that I belong and I will always have a place in my family. The reason that I feel safe is because when I get home and my dog, Ranger wags her tail and likes me on my face. I also know that I am home because my three birds chirp and drive me crazy and I am so glad that they can’t talk because if they did, I don’t think that I would survive one second with them,but I love all three of my birds:Angel,Mia,Jackie.Hearing my birds chirp,feeling my dog’s licks and knowing I belong makes me feel safe in my home. I feel comfortable in my home because I am loved. I know that I am not going to be judged in my family. In my family, I can be whoever I want to be. I am comfortable in my bed with all 5 blankets and all 50 toutous around me. I am comfortable because in the middle of the night, my dog comes into my bed. I have to move all of my toutous so she can lay down for 5 minutes and then leave. When I was born my aunt gave me a toutou that I named Teddy. It was so worn out that he needed to be patched up twice. Teddy is part of our family and he brings me comfort in my home. I have so many wonderful memories that I’ve made in my home with my family who loves me. My home is a comfortable place where I feel safe.
