Home is Support

Occasionally people say that home is where you sleep, eat, and drink, but I think that home is where you feel loved, safe and supported. Home is where love is established. It is where your heart is filled. It is where your heart is loved. My stomach feels loved too, when my mom makes her crunchy, nutritious, and delicious tacos; just the way I like them.In my beloved home my parents buy me the essentials that I need like clothes, games and toys and so much more. Home is where my heart is filled with love. Home is where safety is created. It is not just where the walls are constructed, but where trust is built. Just like you need a strong foundation to build your home, you need a foundation of trust to build relationships. My home is where I have trusted relationships with my family members, like my dad, my uncle and my friends. Home is where you can go to a room and think about how safe you are. I am safe at home! Home is the feeling of support. Think of it like a crumbled water bottle (that people love) no matter how badly you crumbled inside there would always be someone to blow you back to normal. That’s how I feel with my dad, he helps me with basketball and whenever I fall or feel like quitting my dad just brings me back up. My friends support me too. They give me food whenever I don’t eat even though I have food, they do this to get me strong and make me not starve. They also try to make me a better person in general. And I am so grateful to have friends like that. This is my home of support. I love my home of love,safety and support. I could never imagine how home would be without this. This is home.
