Home is Not a House

House is a word, home is not. House is a building, home is not. Home is a comfortable, loving and peaceful place, House is not. I find my home a comfortable place because, every time I get home, I can just feel the coldness of the air hitting my face. When I am ready to go to sleep, I can just lay on my comfortable bed. Every time I go downstairs I can just sit on the couch like a couch potato, and cuddle with my parents, in my comfortable home. My home is also a loving place because my family is always there when I need them, like overprotective parents. My dog is always there for me when I am sad, sometimes she will bark at me, sometimes she will cuddle with me or she will just stare at me like most dogs do, but that still makes me really happy either way! Every time my grandparents come over they always come to see me first and that makes me feel loved, in my loving home. Finally, my home is a peaceful place because I have no siblings and that usually keeps it pretty quiet and peaceful in my home. Every time I am bored, I can just go to my room and write in my journal while listening to peaceful music. When my parents are busy doing work, I might start doing homework or doodling on my iPad, in my peaceful home. Thank you Habitat for Humanity for thinking of an idea to donate to charity.
