It’s a home and it will always be a home

Home, you go there every day but you might take it for granted. But don’t. Unfortunately, not everyone has a home. I remember when my family was having a hard time. My home keeps me safe, entertains me, and keeps me warm. Sometimes my friends come over and we go to my room. I love my room! I am so lucky to have a room so when my friends come over we can all play there. I’m also lucky to have a kitchen so I can eat food and store food. I’m very lucky to have a bathroom so I can shower and I can keep myself clean. Home is a very comfortable place. You can relax. You can be at peace. You can be very warm and comfortable on cold days. You can turn up the AC to be cool on hot days. I can’t imagine not having that choice. In my house there are amenities. I have a bed. I have a desk. I even have a piano and art supplies so I can continue my passions. I have clothes. I have a closet. I have toothbrushes, I have a hairbrush, I have water. I have everything I need. I even have toys. I’m very very grateful to have a home. I feel safe and happy in my house. Remember a house is not just a house. It’s a home and it will always be a home.
