This is What Home Means to Me

Home can be different to many people. It can be their escape where they find peace and quiet away from the busy storm of the real world. Home could be a pitstop on an epic explorers journey that goes on forever. To some people home might be their clubhouse where they laugh and play games with friends and family. But to me home is a warm embrace that I never let go of. To me home is like a puppy at a door wagging their tail, waiting for their owner to return. Home is like the aroma of freshly baked cookies while you're cozied up by a fire. Home is where I feel love and compassion. Home is where I can be accepted for who I am. Home is where I learn and grow. Home is where memories are hung on the wall. Home is where I make mistakes. Home is where I learn from mistakes. Home to me is more than walls and a roof. Home to me is where my family is. Home is where love is. A home without love and family is just a house. That's why I love home, because home is where my most loved are.
