Home is a Place of the Heart

If you ask me what home is, I will ponder on this subject for home is far more than 4 walls but a sanctuary of love. Home is the only place that you can rely on. Going back to reconnect with your family or culture but most importantly, let loose. I can only imagine 3 things that relate to home. Full of laughter, safety and love. A good home is a laughing home. Laughter is a key feature in a home because when you're full of glee, it is making that location or feeling more pleasant to be in. Hilarity feels powerful. People are in control because they know the truth. Everyone deserves to be happy. The world has another chance to shine. Happiness and joy! These are the emotions in your body that are getting relished and harnessed. This is the world that I want to grow up in. People smiling and guffawing with each other. I know you readers that we can all work together to ensure a brighter future for the next generation ( I am just talking about myself but my friends as well) as a nation, as a friend, as a parent, a sibling, even a child. Even a joke can make a difference. For it only takes a smile for a big change to occur. A good home is a laughing home for it only takes a smile for a big change to occur. Every home is safe. We are so very fortunate to interact in a home that is safe. People right now are living in isolation and bearing the pain of being homeless. We are under a roof, we are cozy and safe. This is not right. Hate and distrust is the foundation of being unsafe. A peaceful world is not full of disharmony. We all have the power to choose what we do in this short life of ours. These are one of the reasons that I am inspired to write this essay about the meaning of home. These are one of the reasons that I support habitat for humanity so that everyone can have a home for an affordable price. People are growing and thriving in their safe home. Safety is a key element in home. One thing I love is a loving home. Let's give you 2 examples of a loving home. Wherever I go, Mom gives me an abundance of kisses and hugs even in places such as school. Grandma works more emotionally telling me that I am loved by the highest being. I like to think that love is like a necklace. The pearls are the people in your life. Thread is representing love and it is stringed when you were added in the big project. The project of love. Every home has love and it is important to pack and take with you on the big trip of life. Home is like a rose. Over time, things are going to happen to this poor little plant. Strong winds, the cold and really life itself. But the more that happens to this rose the more it knows how to deal with these circumstances. It is getting stronger and planting roots in one place. We all deserve to have a home and bring family members inside. Home is more than 4 walls but a place of the heart to grow and plant roots. A sustainable place where we can be ourselves. My home is a household that is filled up with fun, safety and love and everyone’s home big or small can be filled up with it too. This is home to me.
