The Meaning of Home

My home is like a fortress blocking me from the judgments of other people, allowing me to be anything I want to be. My home is my shield to protect me from the judgments of others, but some make it through, they hurt a lot. My home is full of people that support me and help me overcome obstacles. I can smell the waffles getting crisp in the waffle iron. The smell reminds me of my dad's love for us. I can smell the delicious food in the oven filling the whole house with a smell that means dinner is soon to be ready! I can taste the sizzling food in my mouth filling me with a warm sensation. I can taste the delicious waffles that are making me feel even more satisfied with every bite.
