Meaning of Home

I can hear mom say, “Lilly, Jade can you come here please and thank you.” I say, "What's in the pot on the stove? It smells like meat and rice and bulgogi sauce. Can I taste the yummy food?” In my home I can also smell peppermint hot chocolate! What I can feel is the love and warmth of my bed, cats' fur when I get cold at night. I feel loved, funny, happy, supported, and safe. I am also hopeful, joyful, sad, mad, and colorful, loving, and surprised. Home to me is coming home to my dog, kitties, my dad, mom, my bed, my sister, and my shows. I like to watch the Grinch and take a nap at home, comfy on the bed. My mom usually wakes me up! I hear my cat, my dog, and the smell of the rain after. After school I like to play games with my sister and eat hot food when it's cold outside. I can feel memories in my heart and head. When I read books, it makes me a bit better at reading. I love the warmth of my dog fur.
