What is Home

Home is a very special place for everybody. Your home is unique and different than all the other houses but you still know that it’s yours because it calls to you and your heart glows when you see it. My home smells like lovely homemade sourdough baking in the oven, filling the entire house with an irresistible smell. What I can taste when I'm in my house is fresh homemade sourdough when it’s done baking. I can also taste samples of dinner while helping make it, for example homemade pasta, homemade curry or homemade pizza. Three things I can touch while in my house are game cards, dice and game pieces. Also, I can feel warm arms as I’m lovingly cuddled, and the last one is pots, pans and other cooking equipment as I’m baking either dinner or sourdough or something else. Some emotions I have while in my house are love, safety, belonging and joy. What my house looks like in the inside is my family spending time together and helping each other out. It also looks like my family playing board games and card games together and having fun and caring about each other. That’s what my home sounds like, smells like, looks like, tastes like, feels like, and what emotions I have in my house.
