What Home Means to Me

Home makes me feel safe and loved by my family. My home has lots of things. I have a dog. He helps me feel happy when I'm sad. You should be happy that you have a home. Some people in the world do not have homes. I have food, and every time I go and sit down for dinner with my family we all talk about what we did at school. A home is much more than a house. It is where you never feel alone. I have my family to spend time with and play. My house holds a lot of fun and happy memories. Coming home after a bad day at school, I feel happy and joyful at home. I have water and my mom’s delicious meals when I have dinner. I have a bed where I can sleep. Thank you, Habitat for Humanity, for building houses.
