A Home Isn't Nothing

I see my home and family there as a gift not nothing. Inside I see laughter, games and family fun together as one family. I smell baking that my mom and I like to make lots of cookies, some for this home, others as a gift for the year. They smell so good on my face. I love it when we deliver them not as a full family but it still makes memories. I feel my family’s love even when they go. I feel their warm hugs even on the coldest of nights. I’ll miss them so much when they go and float up. When I’m alone I focus on those good times with my family that loves me. I taste some delicious cookies for neighbors and other family teachers and friends. After some dinner my mom made for our family we tell stories about our day and tell jokes or funny things that happened to them. I hear laughter and love at my family's home, holding tight not letting go until goodbye. Inside our home I hear my family playing a board game with me. I love my family. I know a home is made of love and dreams, not just the man made bars and beams. Forget your TV and focus on your family's dreams, those memories of you with your family. What's your meaning of home for you and your family?
