What is the difference between a house and a home?

When I was little I just thought that a home and a house were the same but then I learned it wasn't. It's much more than that. A home is where you spend most of your time. It's not just a shelter, it is a place where you make memories feel safe and be loved by the people you love. But a house is just a place, just a shelter where you don't feel joyful there, safe or warm. Just think if you just moved into a house you would have no memories just a new empty house. The next reason why a home is a home is all the stuff in it such as like all the pictures you took in that house through all the years, even the furniture, the couch where you lay down and just rest and even fall asleep, even your bed where you sleep there almost every day of your life from being small to big. In a house you always feel like something is missing. It might be your loved ones' pets, your family, it's not the same as the place where you grew up surrounded by love. Your home is not just a building, it loves you, makes you feel warm and safe. That is what I learned now. I know what a home and house are so different if you really think about it. This is why you should be grateful for what you have because one day you might not have it.
