The Difference Between a House and a Home

A home is a cozy warm place filled with laughter and joy with two parents that make those memories. A home is a safe place with pictures on the wall and siblings running around; with mom doing the dishes and dad yelling at the game. A home is a happy and loving place where you can see my brother playing with his toys. The dog and two cats running around. A house is a dark scary building with just 4 walls in a house there is no love. In a house it's lifeless and old. In a house you can smell nothing but loneliness. In a home you can smell mom baking cookies and you can also smell freshly new flowers dad bought for mom on the kitchen table. If you walk into my home you can see my couch with 1 or 2 blankets from when we have movie night. If you walk into my hallway you can see pictures of my family. When you walk into my room you can see a lot of blankets and my computer on my makeup desk. In a house you just live in it and it's just rooms and some walls. A house is a home without love.
