House is a building: Home is a safe place.

Home is a place where I feel safe and comfortable, home is where my family and I can share our feelings, be passionate and vibrant without anyone judging. Everywhere can be a home, as long as you feel safe. The word “Home” to me is outstanding, because home to me is a like being on cloud 9 every day, every second, every minute and every hour, it’s all happiness and you don’t have to worry about anything. I have a home filled with great memories, our conversations and bonding moments are part of the reasons why we have a home, not a house. Our crazy singing nights, my never-ending clarinet practices, hang outs with my little sister, short car rides and our emotional growth help our house become a home, every time after school or short car rides, or even just a drive home from the grocery store, it truly feels like going home to a giant warm hug, a tight embrace that makes me feel safe. Home is where I can have my privacy, tell anyone anything without them judging, it’s where I know I’m safe and protected. Every time I come home, I feel safe, protected, and obviously, I feel at home. The familiar scent and atmosphere make it feel like home, but most importantly, the people inside it is why it is called “home” the stories we tell, the laughter we make, the smiles we love, the memories we make, are all part of our home’s story.
