Meaning of Home

For me home is where I feel, not just safe but also I feel safe to FEEL. It's a place I know I can be caught in a tsunami of tears without embarrassment, or become hot as fire with anger without the fear of losing friends. I know I can experience every feeling to the max including the feeling of home. But what does home feel like? Emotionally it feels safe, physically it feels like my cat's soft fur. I associate the feeling of home with the feeling of being relaxed, for example I don’t have to keep my guard up at all times, or I don't have to be on the lookout for danger, unlike those who might have less than me. But home isn't always a feeling, it can be a place like a house or building, it can be an object like a stuffed animal or book, and it can be a person like a friend or parent. For me though home can be both like the FEELING of having a STUFFED ANIMAL, or the THRILL of a really good BOOK! home is a lot of things but to me it is mainly an object or feeling.
