What home is to me
What home means to me is safety, warmth, and comfort. Home is my safe space, I can be me, I can feel my emotions, I can talk to my family, and most importantly I can feel a sense of belonging and love. At home I can have bad days and I don’t have to put up an act and pretend that everything is okay. In the world I sometimes can’t be myself, I have to pretend that I am like everybody else, I am just a normal person living a normal life, I feel like I have to hide my true identity, because the true Juniper loves baking and cooking, cats and Billie Eilish, and I am always fearing that I will not fit into the world, that I am not cool enough, and people won’t like me for who I am, they won’t like those quirks that the true juniper has. It is important for everyone to have a safe and loving home, and I know some people don’t and I couldn’t imagine my life without my home. My family and my parents and my sister and my cats. My home is what makes me myself this very day, and makes me feel comfortable, and happy, and loved, and safe in this world, home is the most important thing anyone could ever need.
