Home is a Place to Make Memories

Home is not just a home, it's a place to make memories and to spend time with the people you love. My home is unique to me. My home is a place for me and my family to feel special. When I walk in my house I see my exhausted cats and excited joyful dogs with slobber all over the ground. I smell the sweet sensation of my moms baking and the dirt from my dads shoes. I walk upstairs. I hear my dad coming from the basement and my sister calling my name each second is something to remember. I see the pictures on my walls and the dirt on my sisters' dolls. My house is not big but as special as can be. I see the long hallway I've had for years. It feels brand new. I see the warm cozy blanket on my bed, the small TV I've always had. I hear footsteps as my brother walks by his short dirty blonde hair moving in the air My older sister going outside i walk downstairs as my stairs creek the more i walk i see my cozy and warm couch. I sit and finally feel at ease. I play in the basement, the drawing on the walls and the lego on the floor. It's all a part of my home. I remember the first time I went down here and felt like it was yesterday. Everyday I make new memories in my home. My heart feels warm inside like a fresh batch of my moms homemade cookies. Me and my family laugh together at each other's jokes while it's freezing in my house. So home is my place to make memories in my house that means so much to me and my family.
