Home, where I belong
Home can be anywhere, any place that makes you feel special, a place that watches and shelters you for as long as you stay. My story about home is special to me. Today my explanation about a home is when I was in Philippines.
My home was always filled with laughter, happiness, and family reunions. My home was always there for me when I was sick or weak. My home in Philippines always protected my family throughout the harsh floods and pouring rain. Back when I was 5 years old things like that didn’t last.
My parents left to go to Canada leaving me and my older sister behind, my home didn’t last forever. My home got sold for other families to call it home, I was quiet forlorn but I got cheerful because other families could have an experience back at my home, when my home got sold, I had to stay with my grandparents where I got to experience love, stories and friends that filled my mind with special memories.
My home allowed me to speak my language freely with nobody judging me. At the time when I turned 6, a special day arrived for me and my older sister. Me and my older sister got a chance to be at a new home in Canada with my parents! So then, I had to say goodbye to my old home and my grandparents I didn’t want to leave but I had to since my parents were waiting for me and my older sister, so then we got to Canada to be at our new home, with my parents.
You see homes aren’t just regular houses, but homes are a place where you can find peace and freely express yourself with nobody judging you. :)
