The Meaning of Home

Home is a safe place. A place where you grow up, a place where you are always welcomed and a place where you are loved. In the morning, I can hear the sound of my mom yawning and my dad’s heavy snores. When I come home after school, my dog rushes to me and welcomes me with her fuzzy little paws. Home is like a fuzzy blanket wrapped around me. Home is full of love and warmth. Home is full of memories and special moments. Home is like a priceless treasure that I will never forget. My backyard is a place where wildlife lives. Where my little brother always plays. When I am home, I can just feel my heart tingling with love. Home is a place where we eat delicious food and enjoy chatting with each other. Home is a place where I hang my pictures that are full of memories. The closet is full of remarkable stories about when I was a baby. The books in my room are a memory of when I was a baby. Home is something I’ll never forget.
