What Home Means to Me

Home is a place where I feel safe and loved. I feel loved because in my home there are people that love me. I feel safe because there are people that I trust and love. I love that my mom makes dinner for me every day. I especially like the pasta that she makes or the potato salad. I also like what my dad makes for breakfast during the week. I especially like the sandwiches that he makes with ham, cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion. Home is a place where my actions are accepted, my feelings are precise and I can be myself. On the weekends when I wake up slowly walking down the stairs when I hear my mom laughing because of something funny my dad said. I look to the right, where I see my brother watching the tv. I walk to the kitchen and I see my dad, mom and sometimes my sister. And if my sister is not in the kitchen she is watching the tv with my brother. When my mom and my dad noticed that I woke up they said hi and I said hi back. I always feel safe, happy and loved and that’s what home means to me.
