The Meaning of Home

What is home? Home isn’t really just your house. Home is more of a feeling rather than your house. Home can be anywhere - your friends’ house, or even outside. Home is wherever you feel safe and respected. Home is a place where stories are shared, and everyone feels a sense of belonging. Home is a place of memories. Home is different for everyone. To me, it is where I feel wanted. Home is with my family and friends. Home is where I feel safe. Home is my dog, my family, my friends, my books, and my happy place. When I think of home, I think of happiness and laughter. Everyone deserves a home. We all deserve to feel wanted and loved. Home is a place and a feeling we want, a place of enjoyment. We all want a home to feel like we won’t be judged, and can be ourselves. At home wherever that is for you, it feels different than any other place.
