The Meaning of Home

What is the meaning of home? To me, home isn't just a place; it is where you make memories, have fun, and so much more. There is a difference between a house and a home. A house is a solid building made of cement and bricks. A home can also be known as a building, but it is so much more than that. Home is where family is; it's a collection of emotions and memories. Home is like a shield protecting me from anything the world throws at me. Whether your home is a big mansion or a small apartment home is still home. The saying home sweet home is true, but not for all people. Due to construction costs, housing prices, and more, many families in Canada cannot find a suitable home to live in. Habitat for Humanity is a movement of people in Canada and around the world. They are working to make homeownership more accessible. Think about your cozy and loving home; some people don't have that opportunity as we do. Everyone should pitch in to help because there really is no place like home.
