Home is not Just a Home

Home is not just a home. It is a place where you should feel loved and joyful. Home is more than a place you live in, it is a place that is unique. Home is the place where you can enjoy everything, everything made just for you. Everyone’s home is special in their own way. As soon as I open the door, I feel the warm air embrace me from head to toe. I drink homemade hot chocolate made just for me, I take a sip, it warms my heart as if it was on vacation on a hot summer day. Me and my family sat together at the table enjoying the lovely drink, talking happily and waiting for the new year. In my bedroom, I flop onto my bed, it feels like it is the most comfortablest thing ever! It is cleaned and has all my things, even my scent. I love to dream about the things I love. For example, I dreamed that I would become an artist, creating amazing artwork, earning money and living in a mansion. My bedroom is more than just a place to sleep, it holds up all my drawings, photos and memories representing me. My favorite place of my home is actually not in the house, it is the backyard that I always play in, with my friends. In there, there are all sorts of things, footprints, flowers that we planted, food wrappers, forts that we made and lots more. It feels like it is just my special playground, that is just for me! Home is much more than a home, it is your special place to be, and it is where I belong. It is more important than you think. It is where the fun and joy starts.
