What Home Means To Me

When I think of home, I think of the places where I feel protected and safe, with my family greeting me with warm smiles. Home is the place where I hear the soft music and peaceful humming that calms me down, removing all the thoughts entirely in my mind. Home is when my sister and I play games together, creating long lasting memories together. Home is where the unforgettable smells in the kitchen makes me feel like I am welcomed. Home is where I celebrate special events with my family, like birthdays and holidays. Home is when my parents teach me about things I don’t understand, making learning easy and fun for me. Home is when everyone is together, treating each other with kindness and respect. I think that everyone should have a home that makes them feel safe, welcomed, and happy.
