The Meaning of Home

When I'm home I can hear my dad watching sports football and my dogs barking at the neighbor's cat and my mum cooking Pasta. When I am at home I can smell the yummy food my mum spent a long time making for the family and the smell of the trees from our backyard. When I'm at home, I can taste the food my mum has put on the table for the family. When I get home from a long sports game, my mum gets me hot chocolate. When I'm sick she will get me soup and a drink loved. When I am at home, I feel cozy in my soft bed. I feel warm when my dad gives me a hug before school. I feel happy petting my dogs. I feel relaxed sitting in my gaming chair after a long day at school. When I'm at home I feel safe and I feel loved and I feel like I belong there and happy. When I'm home, I tell my family how I feel. l tell them if I'm happy, sad, or mad. I can always tell them my feelings and be honest.
