Meaning of Home
My home is where I can see my dog lying down on the couch. She breathes loudly. When I sit down next to her, she wakes up and comes over to me, and I pet her. Her soft fur makes me tired like I want to sleep next to her.
My home is where I can hear the fire crackling. When it is cold outside, my mom turns on the fire, and it is warm. When I am done going outside and it is snowing, I nearly put my back on the fires, and then my mom says, “don't put your back on it.” I can hear my dogs nails clamping on the wood floor. When I open her food, she runs over to me. My mom and me watch my dog as she goes crazy.
My home is where I can smell perfect food. As my mom says, “dinner is Ready,” I am starving. I feel happy when we have yummy food like chicken, tacos, pasta, and cooked potatoes. We all sit on the couch, and we watch movies or tv shows and have the best time. I can also smell my wet dog after a long rainy walk. She is soaked, drenched, freezing cold. I get a towel and dry her off. She also stinks very much.
My home is where I can taste delicious foods that my mom makes, like sweet salad with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and salad dressing. I can taste cold icy water with ice cubes to make it refreshing.
My home is where I can touch my dog's fur, so soft and warm like a blanket covering you up when you are cold or tired. I can also feel my mom's arms around me. I feel loved, happy, and safe.
