Home is Not Just a Place

Home is not just a place to scroll on your phone or watch TV all day, it’s a place to go to feel loved, safe and happy. The place you go to feel good about yourself, no matter what, and the place to grow and learn. Home is a place to go to see pictures of you and your family growing. The place to go to hear laughter as your family watches a movie late at night. The place to go to get tucked in at night as your mom says she loves you with the twinkle in her eye even when you're getting older. The place you go to smell the delicious food your parents cook for you every day and night. Home is a place I go to have a calming room, to have loving parents who would do anything for me, to have two siblings that I love very much, to have a very loving dog that I hear barking as me and my siblings come home from school and a lot more. So now you know that home is not just a place to watch TV or scroll on your phone all day, it's a lot more than you think.
