The Construction of Home

My home has a crackling fire, one you could never forget. It's like a fire that burns inside you but in a good way like it warms the inside of your soul. The sound of the fire makes me feel so much at home. My grandma always makes Russian food. So because of that it always smells like welcoming crepes in the morning[my grandma is Russian, that's how I know about crepes] and sometimes when I’m lucky my grandma makes a big Russian meal. I taste something you could never forget: warm crêpes in the morning and I can almost hear the gallons and gallons of maple syrup that I’m going to put on my crêpes.mmm they’re so tasty. I can hear all kinds of different sounds like Christmas jazz in the background and the sizzling of the pan with oil on it then my grandma calls Sasha time to eat breakfast! I oh I can’t wait for the crepes to be done. The pan turns off. The crepes are almost done!! Home is like that superpower that glows inside of you. Without it you feel dull and you feel sad so home is something that everyone needs because it’s your superpower. You have many other superpowers too, but that one glows the most. Home can be more than just your house, it can also be something you remember like the mountains or the snow blizzard that comes every winter. Home could be after you get back from skiing you have hot chocolate and it warms you up. so home is more than just a house it can be a place you remember when you think of home. Whenever I remember home I always think of the memories that I had in the mountains like skiing or skating.
