My Safe Place

Home is a place you grow up and learn and play. Home to me when I walk back from gymnastics I see my dog excited and barking at me. I pet him and let him outside.I see all the grass, my trampoline and my treehouse. That my grandpa made me. I turned around and looked to see my sister doing her art project for school and my mom cooking. Dinner When I walk into my bedroom I see all my medals and remember how many times my dad drove me to gym lego and my Pokémon cards on my bed and all my toys I go silent and hear my sister singing. I touched it and I knew it was in the dryer recently. I walk out and smell my mom cooking. I go downstairs to see all my gymnastic equipment that my dad got me. I turned around to see my dad on the couch watching TV. Then I heard my gymnastics friend calling to play roblox with me. Then I hear my mom call me for dinner. Her food is the best. Home for me is also when I look outside to see snow on the lawn. I know it is December and it is almost Christmas. During Christmas I love to drink eggnog. It is the best. We also have a tradition that on Christmas night one person will hang a pickle on the tree and if you find it you get a prize. It is so fun when home is also when me and my family go camping with my friends for my birthday. My favourite thing to do while camping is making s'mores at the campfire during night, also hiking and seeing the beautiful view when where done.
